Announcing highlights from the autumn Masterclass programme

Now that we've had our one week of summer, we at Guardian Masterclasses are looking ahead to autumn. With so many new courses confirmed for September onwards, we thought we'd bring you up to date with some of the highlights.
We've twisted arms right across the Guardian and Observer building, and are excited to announce a host of new courses led by some of the Guardian and Observer's most accomplished journalists and writers.
Award-winning investigative journalists Paul Lewis and Heather Brooke will again lead a fascinating two day Investigative journalism course tackling everything from cultivating sources, accessing and extracting information to campaigning and citizen journalism in the digital age.
Weekend courses in feature writing and travel writing will offer exceptional opportunities to delve into other aspects of journalism. A brand new six week The art of being a critic course will bring together some of our most established commentators and writers such as Lyn Gardner and Catherine Shoard to share their skills and insights into reviewing.
Following the success of our Reinventing Magazines talks, we are also presenting a Reinventing Fiction evening with Kate Pullinger who will discuss her prize-winning approach to digital fiction and integrating new technologies into writing.
If your interest and passion lies in film, our Screenwriting weekend will give you access to five expert writers who will coach intensively on topics such as character, structure and dialogue concluding with an industry panel discussion.
