Miami South Point lighthouse gets Tobias Rehberger treatment

video picture The City of Miami Beach authorities have been instrumental in the acquisition and installation of a piece of public art by German artist Tobias Rehberger. The lighthouse at South Point is one of many public art projects in progress and it cuts a striking silhouette against the Miami skyline. Unveilled during the tenth Art Basel Miami Beach, The Art Newspaper TV's reporter Anny Shaw caught up with Rehberger and Dennis Leyva, the Art in Public Places coordinator, at the site of the new installation.

Organised in association with London's Artprojx, Art Video is being screened for the first time in the SoundScape Park, on the 7,000 sq. ft outdoor projection wall of the New World Center.
