Jenna of Sew Happy Geek is on point in getting the most mileage from her fabrics when creating Granny Squares. She shares how on her blog.
Becky of Patchwork Posse made this 15″ square doll quilt using up the limited number of purples in her stash. So sweet! Of the pattern she explains,
I’m afraid checkers is more my speed, though I did always want to master the game of Chess. Ah well, maybe when I retire. Find the how-tos and recipe to make this beautiful checkerboard cake and chocolate Chess pieces

Rice Krispies Treats for the 4th of July… now, with more pop! Pop Rocks, that is. Make “Firecracker” Rice Krispies Treats
Donna of Donna’s Quilts 4U2C guests posts at QM Quilty Pleasures sharing an insight she received to streamline the stitch and flip piecing technique. Her method allows you to skip the marking. Brilliant!

How sparkly and sweet and perfect to serve or give for the 4th of July (though I’m also thinking of plenty of other shapes and colors for every holiday). Find the recipe and how-tos
Taking things in the marshmallow world up a notch… Marshmallows with oh-so-pretty Funfetti cake batter mixed in? Yes, please. Find the how-tos

Yes, I’m very much old enough to know and appreciate each and every one of the references made by these Fast Times at Ridgemont High cupcakes. But I am imagining the piqued curiosity of those seeing these somehow unfamiliar with this ’80s movie masterpiece. Find the cupcakes
Hmmm, strange bedfellows, I suppose. Make this fun, kid-friendly, pool party JellO
